Annual General Meeting - 23 November at 7pm

 

Our AGM will take place on Thursday 23 November at 7pm-8.30pm at Southwark Council's Office on Tooley Street.

 

Come and join us for a glass of wine, an update on our activities and the chance to ask questions.

 

We are very lucky to have not only our local Councillors attending, but also Caroline Pidgeon, Liberal Democrat London Assembly Member, Chair of Greater London Authority Transport Committee, to discuss the issue of helicopter noise and what efforts are being made to combat this London-wide nuisance.

 

The Agenda will include:

  1. Round-up of STRA's activities, including street cleaning and licensing issues
  2. Update on finances
  3. Report on Potters Fields Park Trust activities
  4. Update from Ward Councillors, Cllr Anood Al-Samerai, Cllr Eliza Mann and Cllr Hamish McCallum, including the Streets Project, Licensing Policy amendment, St Saviour's Dock Bridge, and the Design Museum
  5. Report from Caroline Pidgeon, Liberal Democrat London Assembly Member, Chair of Greater London Authority Transport Committee, including an update on efforts to combat helicopter noise
  6. Local police issues update from Sergeant Godwin Perrot

Thank you to all of you who attended our AGM.

 

We held this on Tuesday 29 November at 7pm at Southwark Council Offices, Room G01A,B,C, Tooley Street, London SE1 2TZ

 

At this meeting the following Officers were confirmed in their posts for 2016-17:

 

  • Nick Napier, Chair
  • Paul Hanrahan, Vice Chair
  • Julian Searle-Griffiths, Treasurer
  • Jilly Frisch, Secretary
  • Kathleen Ehrlich, Communications Officer

 

We also heard from Nick Starr and Andrew Leveson from the Bridge Theatre; David Franklin,
Team Leader Licensing, Regulatory Services, Southwark Council and Anood Al-Samerai, Elected Councillor, Riverside Ward.
